Breeding Plans

For those interested in getting a puppy from us, this is the page to keep your eyes on. One small warning in advance though; future litter plans will not be found in high volumes here. Kurenai No Kaze is a small scale kennel that choses quality over quantity, and while confident in stating our methods and efforts are of professional grade level, breeding is not our main profession.

In any case, we will always strive for an optimum combination of health, looks, construction and character, as well as a fitting pedigree. Not only does this mean making the right parent combinations, but also wanting to maintain genetic diversity, which is why mating often brings us travels of 2500 km and more. Furthermore, breeding will at minimum be done according to the regulations of the Dutch FCI breed club Nippon Inu as well as AKIHO in Japan.

While we applaud it when future owners would like to show their dog once in a while, it certainly is not a prerequisite. Our puppies are first and foremost meant to be family members, which is why they are raised in house, to receive full love, care and socialization.
